Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR. Participated in breaking the siege of Leningrad.
Nikolay Aleksandrovich Belolipetsky was born on November 22,1924

in the village of Sukmanovka, Tambov Region. He spent his childhood in a large peasant family. His father fell ill with tuberculosis in German captivity and died when young Kolya was 8 years old. All the care for five children fell on the shoulders of his mother - a collective farm worker.

"When I was in the second grade, Uncle Seryozhka, my father's brother, took me in for upbringing. So I ended up in the city of Engels, where my uncle served as a military doctor,” writes Nikolai Alexandrovich in his autobiography.

According to Belolipetsky's memories, at the new school, the boy was laughed at for his clumsiness and rustic clothing. But thanks to the desire for knowledge and previous studies with father, studying was easy. For the last three years of his studies at school, Nikolai studied at the city sailors' club, which determined the type of service during the war.

"The German attack on the USSR led to major shifts in our entire life. The patriotic upsurge of the Soviet people was extraordinary."
In 1941-1942, Nikolai Aleksandrovich took part in the "great migration of peoples" as part of the evacuation from the frontline territories of the USSR. "In the winter of 1942, we created a women's tractor brigade from evacuated Ukrainian girls...

My main task was to repair equipment. From morning until late evening, I raced on horseback from tractor to tractor to run them." In this situation, Nikolai did not forget that "the fleet was waiting for him." Without reporting to the leadership, he walked to Engels. Then there were many more cities and stops on the way, until Nikolai reached Krasnodar, where he was sent to study at the electromechanical school named after sailor Zheleznyakov. Due to the bombing and shelling, there was little study.

"In November 1942, many of us were discharged into the Marines - they were preparing to break the siege. Participated in the explosion. The battalion arrived in Shlisselburg mortally exhausted. In the defense on the Nevsky Pyatachok, he was the commander of a mortar crew, and from the spring - the commander of a reconnaissance platoon division."

In early June 1943, their reconnaissance platoon was tasked with finding out the intentions of the Germans in the Nevskaya Dubrovka area. On the night of June 15, in the "neutral zone", when the division had advanced deep into the German position, Belolipetsky stepped on a mine. His right leg was amputated in the hospital. He was discharged only in January 1944. Wounded, shell-shocked, weakened.

“A memorable day in my life was the significant date of May 9, 1945
which I will never forget. In the morning at about 6 o’clock I learned from a messenger from the village council (by phone from the first secretary of the Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks)) that Nazi Germany had capitulated. This was no longer news in those days, because the victory was inevitable. But it is one thing to consider the obvious, and another to realize such an inevitable event on Victory Day! The news of Germany’s capitulation spread like lightning among all the villagers. In chains, in groups and individually, people streamed to the central square of the village, where an unforgettable rally was taking place at the village council. Former front-line soldiers spoke from the heart, and following their words, great joy and immeasurable sadness appeared. A separate group stood and wept bitterly the widows and mothers of those killed in the war, realizing that there was no longer any news to be expected from them”

After being seriously wounded, Nikolai Aleksandrovich returned to his homeland, taught at the Sukmanov School, worked in the Zherdevskiy and Tambov District Committees of the All-Union Communist Party. From 1955 - head of a sector in the Tambov Regional Committee of the CPSU. He was engaged in economic activities, including during this time the work "Successes of One Poultry Farm" was written. The publication can be found in the Tambov Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin.

In 1967-1973 he worked as the chairman of the Leninsky District Executive Committee.

In 1973-1986 he was the head of the archival department of the regional executive committee.

Belolipetsky was active in the Council of Veterans of the Tambov Region, in the regional department of the All-Union Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Badge of Honor, Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st class and medals.
